Fishery rules

All our fish are in good condition and our fishery rules have been put together to help them stay that way.
No rods must be left unattended at any time
All anglers must have a landing net with them
at all times
No keepnets at any time
No floating baits
No bread
No boilies or nuts
No bolt rigs
No braid is allowed at all - not even hook lengths
No dog biscuits
No cat food
No barbed hooks
No barbless hooks above a size ten
Manufactured barbless hooks only, no crushed, nipped, filed or snipped barbed hooks are allowed
After Jan 2007 all landing nets must be dipped
All children of 15 years and below must be accompanied by an adult
A maximum of two rods per angler
No spectators allowed unless agreed in advance with the owner
Any spectators that pick up a rod or pole will be
asked to pay in full
No night fishing
No-one is allowed on the water or near the lake before 7.30am
Fishing ends at dusk
No parking by the lake
Maximum of 3 kilos of groundbait per person per day
All fish over six ounces must be landed with a landing net
When you have finished fishing do not throw your unused bait on the bank - please take it home
Do not feed the birds
The aluminium bin is not a waste bin neither does it provide free bait for anglers
No fishing from any bridges at any time
Fishing is from designated or numbered swims only
No loud music or radios
No dogs allowed (unless agreed in advance with the
owner)
