21 pound mirror landed by season ticket holder - Alan Hall

Alan Hall landed the season's best carp at Fancott Fishery so far this year at 21lbs.

Alan who's recovering from a stroke has only recently joined us as a season ticket holder. He landed the mirror from peg 20 on Friday the 8th of October.

This was during an all day session with two rods in the margins by the reed bed next to the platform. We were delighted to see that the fish fell to Alan as we've had a series of good fish this week with other anglers landing fish to 19 and half pounds.

The hot weather affected our fish badly and thought that they would not feed for a while until the temperatures evened out a little more - so we were delighted with his catch.
